Do I need to add anything to the water tank?

No, distilled water alone works, but you can also add your favorite eye drops, a saline rinse, or a lubricating solution depending on the relief you want.
How hot does the steam get?

The wand offers 4 heat levels: a cool room-temperature mist as the default, plus 100°F (38°C), 104°F (40°C), and 108°F (42°C), all gentle enough for daily use.
Does it need to be charged before use?

Yes, the wand runs on a rechargeable battery, so make sure it is charged and the tank is filled with distilled water before each session.
Can I use it if I wear contacts?

Remove your contact lenses before use, and if you have glaucoma or high eye pressure, check with your eye doctor first since warm mist is generally considered safe when used as directed.

Better than I expected for the price
